Housekeeper Training (Private)

Service Description

This on-the-job training takes place in the client's home with her domestic worker, 1-on-1 over a period of 2 days. The programme covers the following Cleaning: - Sweeping and or vacuuming - Mopping - Polishing of furniture - Wiping down of kitchen surfaces and appliances - Dish washing - Washing of dish cloths and other materials used for cleaning purposes (e.g. mops, dusting cloths, toilet brushes) - Wiping down of walls, window sills and wall skirting boards - Window cleaning - Clearing of refuse and washing of bins Laundry: - Sorting - Treating stains - Washing of clothes (whether by hand or machine) - Drying of clothes - Ironing of clothes - Folding and packing away - Basic mending of clothes - Shoe, bag and coat care The programme covers housekeeping from both a theoretical and practical perspective. The trainee receives a manual and certificate at the end of the course. Course duration is 2 days, but can be extended at an additional charge for clients with greater needs. There is no travel charge within 20kms of Hilton.
